Nearly 135 days following the previous coach's initial media briefing as Rangers head coach, successor the German coach faced the media at Rangers' stadium for the initial occasion.
The scale of the challenge facing him is widely recognized, given Martin's turbulent and disappointing 123-day spell.
The ex- Wednesday manager was joined by chairman the chairman, along with the frequently questioned duo of sporting director Thelwell and chief executive Stewart.
But what exactly was revealed from the 36-year-old German's maiden media outing as the club's manager?
The Manager's Primary Focus - Winning Comes First
One thing came through loud and clear from Rohl's first appearance before the Scottish media - he understands the necessity to secure victories, and achieve this rapidly.
The previous manager Martin lasted only 17 games and four months as manager, so the inquiry emerged about how long Rohl believes is realistic to turn around the underperforming squad.
While skillfully avoiding a direct answer that might create later expectations, the coach's communication was quite clear.
"Hopefully very quickly," he stated. "That is crucial.
"In this business you have limited opportunity. You can discuss long-term vision but it's understood it's about the short-term and that period involves securing victories. This is what I demand.
"One thing remains clear - I require every squad member to understand how we want to perform. I come back to my main message: victory comes first, it's attractive and it's together. By following this order, I'm convinced that I'll stay for years at the club."
Pressure is Standard
Martin required security protection to leave the stadium after his final game in charge.
We've seen how toxic environments can turn at sports teams when results are poor. Demonstrations have almost become a regular part of the matchday experience on both sides of Glasgow currently.
As the club's most youthful manager in history, the inquiry was posed about what qualities Rohl believes he has that would allow him to handle, never mind excel, in one of the highest-pressure positions in British football?
"In my opinion expectations in this business are standard," he stated. "One needs to understand that very quickly.
"I believe some people could reference my youth but I'm a decade and a half on this path. I experienced a great chance to work with Bayern Munich and serve as only an assistant manager, but I experienced the reality to manage a team and the demands you face.
"When you start winning games and then certain people will say you must play attractive football. That becomes the phase but precisely what I want. I enjoy those expectations and I look forward for what's ahead."

There were plenty of inquiries from the media directed at Thelwell.
Much discussion has concerned the hiring of Robbie Thelwell as head of recruitment, with fans skeptical about his qualifications for the position.
However, he justified and explained the decision to recruit his son to Ibrox.
"It remains awkward to listen and optically I think everyone understood when we made this decision to hire Robbie that he'd be seen in a particular way," Thelwell said.
"The reality of the situation is that we aim to attract the very best players to this club.
"My view on Robbie's career and background is he required no family help in football.
"He's worked at Aston Villa as head scout, he then moved to Norwich as head of scouting and then was elevated to development role.
"Before we hiring him, two top division clubs sought to sign him. What we did right at the start of the process was consult with the CEO, Andrew and deputy chairman Marathe about this situation.
"I was extremely open and I believe he likely underwent a stricter process than any other who's employed by this football club.
"What I do know is that he'll labor 25/8 to be successful for Rangers and I anticipate to him demonstrating that he's going to be a valuable staff member for the club."
Additionally, Thelwell defended the acquisition of striker Chermiti, who joined Rangers for an alleged first payment of £8m, having failed to find the net in 24 appearances for Everton.
It was Thelwell who brought the Portuguese young international to Merseyside from Sporting Lisbon - once more for large funds in a fifteen million pound deal.
The question came if he stands by his expensive signing, who is yet to register in seven matches for the club.
"Yes, very much so," Thelwell answered. "I think Youssef Chermiti represents who's possesses huge potential.
"I haven't doubted him in any way. Again, I think Danny will assist in get the best out of the player.
"These are early days for the young player, he remains young talent and naturally with young talents they sometimes require patience.
"But I'm certain throughout of his career here he'll demonstrate that he's a highly capable footballer."
Stewart Acknowledges Fan Disappointment and Anger
Stewart was also facing firing line, given the vitriol that has been directed at him by certain club own supporters.
Additionally, there was a sign in the stadium during the recent tie with United inviting him - and Thelwell - to depart before they were packed for them.
Like his sporting director, Stewart didn't evade the topic.
"I totally appreciate the frustration and hurt that fans are experiencing because performances this season haven't been expectations and nobody's satisfied with those," he stated.
"The pain and frustration they feel is mirrored within the leadership.
"Recognize that there has to be an outlet for that dissatisfaction and as chief executive, I'm responsible.
"I serve as focal point for such issues and my role as a
