Football Expert Sutton Battles Singer Murs in Top Flight Predictions
Arsenal's 10-game victorious streak was ended by the Black Cats before the international hiatus, however will the Premier League frontrunners bounce back against local foes Spurs this Sunday?
"{I believe like Arsenal are miles ahead of Tottenham currently but Spurs boss Thomas Frank will have a plan for this game," stated football specialist Chris Sutton.
"Frank will attempt to nullify Arsenal, who have not always been at their sparkling best this campaign - but Mikel Arteta's team typically still manage to win."
Sutton is forecasting results for all 380 Premier League games this term, versus artificial intelligence, readers and a variety of special visitors.
For the twelfth round, he takes on performer Olly Murs, who is a Manchester United fan.
Murs' new record, the new release, is available on the weekend.
Football and Family Experiences
Olly is a skilled footballer as well as a accomplished singer and has been a featured player of several charity football matches down the years - but he is not planning a serious return as a footballer.
"{I recently played in a benefit match the other evening for a mate of mine," he said. "My side was losing 3-1 when I came off in the second half, and they proceeded to win 4-3, so you can read into that what you will!
"I continue to love football, but I hurt my knee a few years ago and it still isn't where I want it to be. I hope I could play more but the unpredictability of the sport means it's too dangerous for me in my profession to do it seriously again.
"Additionally I am 41 now, and we are not everyone is Cristiano Ronaldo, are we!? No, I am very happy not playing football and I am preparing for the time that my daughter or son chooses to play instead."
The singer and his wife Amelia Tank have two children, their daughter and Albert, and he is prepared to emulate his dad by taking on the role of their coach.
"I won't push football on our kids but I've already told my wife that if they do get the bug for it then I will have to go and get my manager qualifications - and I will likely be managing their Saturday football team," he said.
"I watched my nephews play a lot, and I truly got into it, and I obviously owned a football club for a period too.
"My dad coached with us when I was a kid, which is probably where I inherited it. He managed our side for two or three seasons and had a wonderful time with it. That could be the future for me as well, and I am excited to it!"
Top Division Predictions

- Turf Moor, 12:30 GMT
The Blues may have to be patient for Cole Palmer's return from injury but their attack is now stronger with Pedro and Delap both back fit.
I still think this game will be fairly tight, however. Burnley are disciplined and their sole at Turf Moor defeats so far have been against Liverpool and Arsenal.
This suggests a one-all tie to me, but I am in fact going to choose Chelsea to edge it for what would be their third consecutive Premier League win in a row.
The expert's forecast: 1-2
Olly's pick: Chelsea will be too strong. 1-3
AI's prediction: 0-2
- Vitality Stadium, 15:00 GMT
The Cherries have lost their past two games - although both of them were on the road - but they got absolutely spanked by Villa last time out which surprised me.
In contrast, the Hammers secured back-to-back victories before the international break and, although both of those games were at home, they do look strong again.
The Hammers' sole away victory this campaign came at Forest in the summer, when their manager Nuno Espirito Santo was previously Forest coach.
So, what on earth do I go with here - will it be the Hammers extending their streak under Nuno, or the home side bouncing back?
I am going to choose Bournemouth, because I believe what happened against Villa was a blip.
The pundit's prediction: 2-0
Olly's outlook: Bournemouth are performing strongly but West Ham have picked up under their boss. 2-2
AI's prediction: 1-1
- Amex Stadium, 15:00 GMT
The Bees were considered one of the favourites for relegation before the season started, but they have surprised a few people under Keith Andrews and are in fine fettle with three wins in their past four games.
My son advised me to select Bees striker Thiago in my Fantasy Football team a few weeks ago and, guess what, I didn't listen.
Thiago will probably find the net again on the weekend but I am nonetheless not going to select him or back Brentford at Brighton's ground.
The Bees have not had great fortune on the travel this term, and the Seagulls are always decent at home. Brentford will try to attack on the counter-attack but I feel the home manager's team carry much more of a danger.
Sutton's forecast: 2-1
The singer's prediction: It could be one of those games where you expect there is going to be a lot of goals but it in reality turns out to be quite tight. 1-1
The computer's outcome: 2-1
- Craven Cottage, 15:00 GMT
It is a huge game for the Cottagers, who have suffered defeat in five of their last six games.
They have got lots of talent in their team but it nonetheless seems like they could be sucked into a relegation fight.
As for the Black Cats, indeed they are the unexpected success of the top flight season so far.
The away side's performance in the 2-2 draw with Arsenal last time out was superb. We have not seen any other team disrupt the North London side like that this term, and they were more than a match for them.
The sensible thing would be to back the Black Cats here, because they are obviously capable of roughing Fulham up too and, the previous occasion they were in west London, they beat the Blues at the end of October.
But I am not going to do that. Rather, I really need to carry on going against Sunderland with my predictions. I am taking a lot of responsibility for their positive outcomes because they clearly love to defy my predictions.
Looking at Fulham's at Craven Cottage form, the sole side they have lost to is the league leaders. Their manager's side will be extremely eager for a positive outcome, so I am going to say they will pick up three much-needed points.
The expert's forecast: 1-0
The guest's prediction: I'm aware Sunderland are performing strongly and additionally that Fulham are on a bad run... but they have still been decent at Craven Cottage this season. 2-0
The algorithm's prediction: 2-0
- Anfield, 15:00 GMT
It is a tough fixture to predict. Liverpool have suffered seven of their past 10 games in all competitions, but might they be one of the teams who profit from the {international break|
